The activities of this group are painting  and drawing (in any medium) and sometimes enjoying demonstrations in the hall (the Gladstone Village Hall, Burton).

There are outdoor meetings in the summer and outings to art galleries.

We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month (2.15pm - 4.15pm) when we each 'do our own thing'.

There is a good range of abilities and everyone is very friendly and helpful. You can participate in group discussions or work quietly on your own -  it's entirely up to you.

There's also tea and biscuits!

No special skill or knowledge is required - just come and try - you may be better than you think!

Help and advice is given by fellow Club members, and there are also the demonstrations.

As for equipment, at it's most basic all you need to start is pencil and paper. The rest is up to you.

(Finally, a comment, if you are an oil painter then please bring non-smelling thinners or water based oils as the smell can get over powering if several people are using turps!)
